1. Weekly Saturday Dance Classes

Saturday Schedule:
Sign in at 1:15 pm. Once folks are signed in, the first class session starts which covers all levels. That’s followed by some social dancing. Then there’s a second class session for intermediate and advanced dancers, which ends at 4:30 pm (anyone is welcome to stay and watch).
Some of us go out for coffee or a bite to eat afterwards and everyone is welcome!

Join us to laugh, make friends, learn cool moves, and create a dance community. Dress comfortably. Videos: youtu.be/fUM4ku08nls, youtu.be/zfLsUVyMLo8, and youtu.be/ZHfJbGBA7t0.

5 blocks from Friendship Heights Metro (Red Line), one block from Chevy Chase Circle, and on the route of several bus lines. For public transit directions, click here.

Children over 11 years old may attend class if a parent is in the room. $10 for children.
No charge for anyone to just come and watch the fun. Watching is a great way to introduce young children to the spirit of dancing.

2. Bossa Classes

A live Salsa band performs downstairs every Saturday around 10:30 pm and another live band generally performs on Fridays. The Bossa Bistro online calendar online has a complete list of their dance classes and music events.

3. Danceintime’s Guidebook & Publication Party

Danceintime’s Barb Bernstein is completing a book titled “Salsa Dancing & Rueda de Casino Guidebook for Beginner to Advanced Dancers: Steps, Styling, Technique, Latin Rhythms, Humor & Anecdotes.” Sample pages are at salsacasinorueda.com.
